(in short: G&A), which is the operator of four websites: "Gransier & Associates" (http://www.gransier.com) , “Hotel Talent Search” (https://hoteltalentsearch.com), “Recruitment Channel Manager“ (https://www.recruitmentchannelmanager.com), and Learning Compass” (http://lcompass.com), its business registered and located in Austria, 1170-Vienna, Rudolf-Bärenhartgasse 13/b/5, Company Registration Number at the Commercial Court of Vienna, Austria, Number FN369444a (from now on called “G&A”):
Thank you for visiting us!
Your Data Privacy is important to us.
To better protect your Data Privacy, we provide this Data Privacy Policy explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used at this site.
1. Introduction
As we want you to be secure when visiting our websites, the protection of your Personal Data is our utmost priority. For this purpose, our Data Privacy practice complies with the requirements laid down in the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of the 27th of April 2016 (from now on called “GDPR”), passed by the European Parliament and the Council. At this point, we would like to inform you about the type, scope, and purpose of the processing of your Personal Data. We want to point out in advance that this Data Privacy Policy only refers to our websites and its pages and does not apply to web pages of third parties to which we refer in the form of links.
2. Subject of Protection
The subject of protection is Personal Data, which is all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (from now on referred to as “Data Subject”). This mainly includes Data that enables to conclude your identity (e.g. information such as your name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number). For Job-Applicants this includes all the Personal Data provided in a Curriculum Vitae (Resume) as well as in our Job-Application and CV-Registration forms.
3. Purpose: Keeping you informed about the services of G&A and jobs advertised/recruited through G&A which may commensurate with your “Personal Profile”
- By registering as a potential Client (not Job-Applicant) interested in the services provided by G&A, we may contact you from time to time to update you on our most current services, advisory editorial and news about our projects.
- By registering as a Job-Applicant with G&A on one of its websites and sending your application documents, you will be added to our G&A Candidate’s Database.
- You are required to confirm our GDPR notification which we will send to you by e-mail upon receipt of your application. Unless you confirm this notification, we will remove you from the G&A Candidate’s Database.
- You can apply for job advertisements on our websites. The purpose of our G&A Candidate’s Database and our G&A Job-Board, also linked to 3rd parties, is to match employers and potential employees and to achieve the best possible solution for the positioning of qualified personnel with one of our Clients.
- Your CV needs to include all the necessary and relevant information regarding the performance of the job which is being applied for. This does not include your nationality, passport or marital status and if you have children or sensitive information such as political views or membership in organisations and your health.
- Once you have applied for a job with one of our Clients, your application also remains on record in the Clients G&A Account (if you have as well confirmed our GDPR notification). In the case your application is successful you will be contacted by the Client directly (when an application is made for a Client specified by Clients name).
In the case your application is not successful, your CV remains on record in the Clients G&A Account, and the Client may ask you, in future, for your interest to re-activate your initial application for another opportunity. - You can revoke your consent to stay in the G&A Database at any time (see point 10).
- G&A, as well, may contact you from time to time, to inquire about your interest in jobs with other Clients for which it believes you may be qualified. Only when you express an interest in such job, and you confirm G&A may represent you to its Client, will G&A also propose you to its Client.
4. An open word about good manners in recruitment – both for the Candidate and Employer
- G&A asks Job-Applicants to give serious thought, study the published job requirements well (professional qualifications, years of experience, languages) and if need be to consult with friends and relatives if the job on offer is the right career step.
If in doubt, please, do not just “Click & Apply” as you will not be doing yourself the credit you deserve. - Please, be available and check your incoming emails daily to see if you have received a response.
- G&A will confirm receipt of each application by return e-mail, and in case the Client will take the job-application further, the Job-Applicant will be contacted when longlisted, shortlisted and eventually either accepted as the final candidate or declined.
- G&A advises its Clients to respond to applications within 14-days of receipt, latest by the 30th day of receipt of the application. If you do not hear back by then, please contact G&A at careers@hoteltalentsearch.com and mention when you have applied, for which job and with which employer, and we will make an inquiry with the Client about the status of your application.
- If you believe your application has been treated inappropriately, please, contact G&A at GDPR@gransier.com, tell us your story, and we will look into with your best interest in mind.
5. Client and Job-Applicant Consent for Collection and Processing of Personal Data
- You are required to confirm our GDPR notification which we will send to you by e-mail upon receipt of your application. Unless you confirm this notification, we will remove you from the G&A Candidate’s Database.
- The Client and/or Job-Applicant expressly consents to the processing of his/her Personal Data in accordance with the purpose described in this Data Privacy Policy, and in the case of a Job-Application also including sharing its Personal Data by G&A with its Client (When, and which the Job-Applicant has applied for through G&A, and with other business entities/employers within the same business group of the Client). You can revoke your consent to remain in the Database at any time (see point 10).
5.1 Transferring your Personal Data outside of the EU
As part of the services offered to you as a Job-Applicant through G&A, the information which you provide to us may sometimes be transferred to countries outside the EU. By way of example, this happens when you contact us via the “Contact Us” forms on our websites, and when you are a Job-Applicant it may happen if you have authorised us to submit you for a job application in a country outside of the EU or if you have chosen to contract through an Umbrella Company that has solutions outside of the EU. These countries may not have similar Data protection laws to Austria. By submitting your Personal Data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing outside of the EU. If we transfer your information outside of the EU in this way, we will take steps to ensure that appropriate security measures are taken with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights by G&A continue to be protected as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
If you use our G&A services while you are outside the EU, your information may be transferred outside the EU to provide you with those services.

- Personal Data of G&A Clients received via our contact form on our websites is transferred to, stored and processed by the GDPR compliant CRM of "Hubspot" located outside of the EU, which for maintenance reason for Data Processing may access this Data - however, may not share, process, copy or disclose this Data. - Personal Data of G&A Clients is not shared by G&A with other parties unless we are obliged to do so by applicable law (see point 8).
- Pursuant to the provisions of GDPR, we are informing all those registering or submitting a Job-Application (from now on called "the Job-Applicant") for the job offers published through G&A that all Personal Data provided by the Job-Applicant will be incorporated into the files held by G&A and when an application is made for a G&A Client specified by Clients name, then also incorporated in the G&A account of this particular Client (and Clients related businesses), for the purpose of an application for a job vacancy.
- Providing all the requested Data is necessary for an optimal provision of the services made available to the Job-Applicant. If all Data is not provided, G&A and its Clients cannot ensure that the information and services requested can be accurately provided or best suited to the Job-Applicant’s needs.
- The Job-Applicant ensures that the information he or she provides is correct, complete, and up-to-date at all times, releasing G&A and its Clients from the consequences and damages caused to others and/or third parties resulting from its inaccuracy. G&A and its Clients (when an application is made for a Client specified by Clients name), reserve the right to review the Job-Applicant’s Data.
7. How long is your Personal Data stored? (Art. 13 paragraph. 2(a) GDPR)

After expiry of such periods, the corresponding Data is routinely deleted. Data that we process based on your consent will be stored until revoked or as long as the Data is required. We store such Data based on a legitimate interest for as long as the genuine interest exists.
8. For what purposes and on what legal basis do we process your Personal Data? (Art. 13 paragraph. 1(c), (d) GDPR)

18. Tracking tools
Our website uses the functions of various web analysis services from other companies such as Google Inc. Below, we explain in more detail which services are involved and which Data are analysed.
18.1 Use of Google Analytics with Anonymisation Function:
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, from now on referred to as “Google”. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of how you use our website. Data generated by cookies about the use of our website (e.g. when, where and how often you access our website, incl. IP address) is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
To eliminate the personal identification of your IP address, it will be shortened immediately upon its collection (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits) and thus made anonymous.
IP anonymisation also applies to all member states of the European Union or other member states of the European Economic Area. For more information about IP anonymisation and the use of Data by Google, please visit: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2763052?hl.
If you want to decide on your own which Data Google may collect regarding the website you visit, you can download a deactivation add-on for your Internet browser. However, such an add-on does not prevent Data from being transmitted to us or other web analysis services used by us. For more information about using and installing the add-on, please visit: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
18.2 Social media plug-ins:
Our website contains plugins of the social network “Facebook”, which belongs to Facebook Inc.1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, from now on referred to as “Facebook“. One of the Facebook logos can identify Facebook plug-ins (white „f“ on a blue background, terms such as “Like”, “Share”, “Follow”, or a “Thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. For any relevant information about the appearance and functions of the plug-ins, please visit: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins.
From the moment you access our site, the stored plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. We as website operators have no influence on which, and to what extent such plug-in transmits Data to Facebook. According to Facebook, this is Data about your visit to our site (e.g. IP address, date and time). However, once you click on one of the plug-ins, additional Data are transmitted that can associate you directly with your Facebook account (if you have such an account and are logged in to it). Facebook processes such Data to provide you with personalised user experience on our website and to upgrade its products. For more information, please visit: https://www.facebook.com/help/.
This website incorporates plug-ins from the LinkedIn social network of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, from now on referred to as “LinkedIn”. You can typically identify them by the LinkedIn logo (the letters “in” in white on a blue background) and added text such as “share”. All information about the appearance of the LinkedIn plug-in is provided under the following link: https://developer.linkedin.com/plugins.
LinkedIn logs Data from the moment you visit our site and establishes a connection between your browser and the LinkedIn servers. We as website operators have no influence on which and to what extent the plug-in sends Data to LinkedIn. According to LinkedIn, your logins, cookies, device information and IP addresses are used to identify you and track your usage. However, as soon as you click on one of the plug-ins, further Data will be transmitted which directly associate you with your LinkedIn account (if you have such an account and are logged in to it).
